Individual Awards

Given at the discretion of the ICRI President, this Award acknowledges the extraordinary dedication, unparalleled achievement, and substantial efforts of an ICRI member who has gone above and beyond with their time and their knowledge in giving back to the repair and restoration industry.
To honor those members who have made significant contributions to the industry and the organization. Criteria: outstanding contribution to the production or use of concrete repair materials, products, or structures in the areas of education, research, development, design, construction, or management. The International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) has established a scholarship program to assist qualified applicants who plan to pursue post-secondary education in undergraduate college, university and vocational programs, directly related to a curriculum of study in concrete, concrete repair, architectural and engineering studies (structural and civil).
This award will recognize those new to the industry who stand out in the crowd, aims to continue the success of the original 40 Under 40 program but without needing more than 40 applicants, and plans to identify those with high potential for continued success in leadership roles and commitment to the mission of ICRI. More details about this award will be provided in late 2025.

Acknowledging and recognizing significant contributions that have helped advance the overall mission of the Institute. This award was renamed in 2025 to remember James E. (Jim) McDonald, a vital ICRI leader.
To honor those in the concrete repair industry whose service during their career has gone above and beyond. ICRI’s version of a lifetime achievement award. An Honorary Member is a person of eminence in the repair and restoration field, or one who has performed meritorious service to the Institute.
