2025 ICRI Fall Convention – Call for Presentations
Reach the Top: Position Yourself as a Concrete Repair Expert
Basically, it’s about getting yourself involved, sharing what you know in a way that’s easy to understand, and building real connections with people in the repair and restoration industry. Be the person who’s knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely passionate about concrete repair – ICRI members will notice.
Do you know of a state-of-the-art process for non-destructive testing (NDT), have you addressed the challenges of sourcing or formulating historically accurate repair mortars, or have you come across something innovative that is also minimally invasive? Or do you simply recognize the importance of preserving architectural icons?
Become a presenter at the 2025 ICRI Fall Convention being held in Chicago, Illinois, October 19-22, 2025, focused on the theme Concrete Blues: Restoring Architectural Icons.
Here is what we look for when reviewing each abstract.
- Is the presentation on topic with the convention theme? It should easily fit the theme.
- Is the presentation topic focused or generic? Members tell us they prefer targeted presentations not general overviews.
- Finally, does the presentation revolve around a case study? By far the #1 request from members attending past presentations, does it reference a specific project.
How do I become a Presenter?
All presentations to be considered for the 2025 ICRI Fall Convention must be submitted via the online submission form.
Submission Deadline is 11:59 PM Central Time on Friday, June 13, 2025.
First, provide an abstract of your presentation based on the guidelines below. Most importantly, ensure no parts of your presentation contain ANY commercial information from you, your company, or anyone connected with your content. Presentations are meant to be generic in nature, informative, and entertaining.
Second, be prepared for a 30 or 45-minute presentation. If selected, you and your co-presenter (if applicable) must also agree to:
- Register and pay the convention attendee registration fee.
- Provide a short, one paragraph biography and a head shot photo.
- Complete and sign a speaker agreement form.
- Submit your final PowerPoint presentation 3 weeks prior to the convention.
- Attend a morning speaker orientation meeting on the day of your presentation.

Abstracts MUST be submitted online throught the ICRI Member Portal and include:
- Presentation Title
- Presentation Abstract (limited to 1400 characters including spaces/approx. 200 words)
- Four (4) Presentation Objectives
- Presenter Name(s)
- Company Name(s)
- Presenter Email(s)
- Presenter Phone Number(s)
- Presenter Bio(s)
- Presenter Head Shot Photo(s)
Competition for space as a presenter is intense. Submit your abstract by the Friday, June 13, 2025, deadline if you want to be considered.
