This webinar explores real-world pool restoration, covering investigation, repair development, and construction. It highlights solutions for common challenges like hydrostatic cracks in pool bottoms, leaking expansion joints, lifted concrete deck slabs due to corrosion, and extensive concrete delamination in areas with embedded conduits and chlorine. We’ll also discuss overcoming unforeseen conditions and material flaws encountered during repairs.
Presenter Bio
Dunja Vla attended University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad, Serbia, Europe, and graduated with Master Diploma Engineer Degree, Civil Engineering. She has been working Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc., in Northbrook, Illinois since 1997. Dunja worked on numerous projects from different practice areas. Some of practice areas include restoration of parking structures, water retaining structures, facade assessment, facade ordinance inspections, restoration of facades with various types of finishes as concrete, masonry and stone cladding and restoration of plazas and balconies.
