WELCOME TO THE ICRI INDIANA CHAPTER!

INDIANA PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Happy New Year to all our members!
I hope you enjoyed the holidays and wrapped up 2024 on a high note.
As the new president of the ICRI Indiana Chapter, I'm eager to lead us into a successful 2025. A heartfelt thank you goes to our past president, Stephen Manner, and our dedicated board members for their invaluable contributions.
With over 15 years in the construction industry, my journey began alongside my father, Steve Getz, in our family-owned masonry anchoring company. After our company was acquired in 2019, I continued to support industry professionals with masonry solutions, while serving on the SWRI board from 2017-2020. This experience enriched my understanding of construction organizations and fostered lasting friendships. Now, as an independent manufacturer representative focusing on Indiana, I'm driven to strengthen our connections within the Hoosier construction community.
Our 2025 vision is to expand our Indiana Chapter membership and host educational, enjoyable networking events. These initiatives thrive with your support and participation. I urge you to get involved and invite others who can make a positive impact on our industry and ICRI. I look forward to meeting you at our events and am thrilled to serve as your 2025 President.

MANAGING PROJECT SPECIFIC DETAILS

Presented by: Chris Tobias Prosoco Technical Specialist

The building enclosure, as the barrier separating interior and exterior environments, requires robust detailing to manage challenges like moisture, air infiltration, and thermal performance. The use of fluid-applied flashing products, for instance, ensures seamless and adaptable protection in complex or irregular areas, which is critical for maintaining the enclosure's integrity. Additionally, the collaboration between designers and manufacturers strengthens the effectiveness of these solutions, providing tailored approaches to meet specific building enclosure demands.
