2018 ICRI Spring Convention

A sold out crowd took advantage of the unique opportunity to participate in a concrete restoration tour of Alcatraz Island during the ICRI 2018 Spring Convention. Participants also toured the ICRI’s 2017 Project of the Year, Historic Category: The Alcatraz Quartermaster Building Restoration Project which is not included in the public tours.

This tour was created specifically for ICRI and was led by the experts at the Concrete Preservation Institute (CPI). The CPI trains and inspires military service members, connects them to civilian careers in concrete, construction, and infrastructure while preserving national landmarks.
