The International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) was formed in 1988 as the International Association of Concrete Repair Specialists, by a group of pioneers
who raised concerns over the proliferation of unqualified contractors entering the industry and the lack of standards and guidelines for concrete repair.

Since that time, ICRI has grown into a 2000-member strong international association devoted solely to concrete repair and restoration.

The mission of the International Concrete Repair Institute is to be a leading resource for education and information to improve the quality of repair,
restoration, and protection of concrete and other structures in accordance with consensus criteria.

ICRI serves the concrete repair industry through the publication of a bimonthly magazine and technical guidelines, and by hosting two national conventions
that feature learning and networking opportunities. These activities help to further the industry through information and idea exchange, leading to best
industry practices and continued growth.

Local Chapters
ICRI has 36 chapters located throughout the United States and Canada, and includes one student chapter. These chapters bring the Institute to the local
level through informative technical presentations, topical discussions on local issues and networking social events. Chapters act as autonomous organizations,
planning and scheduling meetings and events, maintaining budgets and building and maintaining membership.

ICRI’s board of directors is comprised of industry leaders, focused on furthering the concrete repair and restoration industry and establishing and meeting
goals for the Institute. The following is the ICRI 2013 Executive Committee.
