DESCRIPTION:Webinar Title: Durable Concrete Repairs on High Profile Projects\nPresenters: Monica Rourke\, FICRI\nDate and Time: Wednesday\, August 26\, 2026 | 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. CT \nWomen in ICRI is proud to partner with Women in Restoration and Engineering (WiRE) as a sponsor of this upcoming webinar. \nThis webinar covers strategies for creating durable\, leak-resistant concrete repairs on high-profile projects\, with a focus on selecting the right chemical grouts for below-grade waterproofing. It draws on case studies spanning 1997–2025\, including the Boston Big Dig Tunnel\, the World Trade Center/Freedom Tower repairs\, and other major tunneling and infrastructure projects. \nPresenter Bio\nMonica Rourke\, has extensive experience with projects in waterproofing and chemical grouting. She has worked as a contractor\, manufacturer’s representative\, and a specification engineer and consultant. Monica concentrates her efforts providing products and support services for tunneling projects\, concrete repair and waterproofing applications\, along with strategies for stabilization of underground structures. Monica is a Fellow of International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI)\, a member for 26 years\, and served on the Board of Directors for 11 years. She was the 2008 National President and recipient of the ICRI President’s Award for outstanding dedication and service to the concrete repair industry. She has co-authored the ICRI Technical Guideline No. 340.1 entitled: “Guide for the Selection of Grouts to Control Leakage through Concrete Structures\,” is currently chair of the 710.E Committee covering – Curtain Grouting Techniques and Applications for creating barrier membranes and mitigating water through underground structures.\n \nClick here for details and to register.\nView the full webinar series here.
