Qualification Requirements: The Distinguished Service Award is to acknowledge and recognize an individual or a group (such as a special task group) that has made a meaningful and significant contribution to ICRI by their actions and activities at either the local chapter level or the national level.
The criteria for nominations of this award shall be based on the following:
- The relation of the contribution to the mission and goals of the Institute;
- The overall result and significance of the contribution;
- The time and effort expended to achieve the end result; and
- The consensus among the chapter Board of Directors or the committee membership, if the nomination is from a chapter or a committee.
Sponsors: It is anticipated that a Chapter President or national Committee Chair would submit the nomination. However, a nomination can also be submitted by a single ICRI member.
Nominations: MUST be made using the following Distinguished Service Award Nomination online form and are due to ICRI headquarters no later than September 1 of each year.
