ICRI 25TH ANNIVERSARY
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

In May 21, 1988, over 70 members of the concrete repair industry came to a meeting in Naperville, IL—the first meeting of ICRI (then called the International Association of Concrete Repair Specialists). In the ensuing years, the organization has grown to over 2000 members, undergone a name change, started countless new programs, and developed 34 ICRI chapters. To honor these and many other achievements of ICRI, we will be acknowledging our 25th anniversary with a year-long celebration in 2013.

The planning for the year-long celebration has been going on for some time, led by the 25th Anniversary Ad-Hoc Committee chaired by Bud Earley. We will kick off the year with a special issue of the Concrete Repair Bulletin (CRB) (January/February 2013), highlighting the history of ICRI and celebrating 25 years of achievements.

There will be celebrations at all normal ICRI meetings and conventions, including a fantastic party being planned for Thursday, March 21, 2013, during our Spring Convention. This convention will be held at the Tradewinds Island Resort in St. Pete Beach, FL (visit www.tradewindsresort.com to check out this beautiful property). The 2013 Fall Convention will bring the meeting back to Chicago to honor the inaugural meeting.

The committee would like your help. They have developed a budget for the year and are hoping for contributions from both members and chapters to help defray some of the costs of these terrific plans and activities. We will be collecting contributions throughout 2012 so that we can plan for the anniversary year with actual finances in place.
