Each year ICRI works hard toward providing the best possible rates at hotels where you would want to stay for our Spring and Fall Conventions. Please do your best to support our efforts by staying at our host hotel. You’ll be close to the action and you’ll be helping ICRI get better rates at future conventions.

PLEASE NOTE:

• The convention rates are $179 single/$189 double + taxes per night. Additional guests over two are $20 per guest, per night. Guestrooms at the convention rate are limited. Rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Convention rates apply for the dates of April 21-25, 2009, subject to availability.

• Guests making reservations by phone or hotel Web site MUST use the Group Code: ICR.

• To confirm a room, the hotel requires the guest to provice a first night's deposit, refundable up to 24 hours in advance of arrival. Major credit cards are acceptable to establish prepayment. All credit cards used to prepay will be charged immediately. Payment by check no longer accepted after Thursday, April 16, 2009.

• Cancellation policy: If room night is canceled 24 hours or more prior to arrival date, no cancellation fee will apply. If room night is canceled less than 24 hours prior to arrival, guest will be charged one night’s room rate.

• Early departure: An early departure fee of $275 will apply for guests who depart prior to the scheduled departure date, confirmed upon check-in.

• Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 12:00 pm.

Aiport/Ground Transportation to and from the hotel

The closest airport to the Hilton Minneapolis is the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, approximately 15 miles from the hotel (a 20-minute car ride). Taxi service from the airport to the hotel is $30 to $35. Taxi service at the Lindbergh Terminal is accessible via the Tram Level. Signs direct passengers one level up to the cab starter booth, where airport staff will assist passengers in obtaining a taxi. At the Humphrey Terminal, taxi service is available at the Humphrey Ground Transport Center, which is located in the Humphrey Parking ramp on Level 1.

Shuttle service from the airport to the Hilton Minneapolis can be provided by Super Shuttle. Super Shuttle service is only provided by reservation, made at www.supershuttle.com. Shuttle fees are $16 one way, $28 round trip, per person. The hotel does not have shuttle service to/from the airport.

Parking

Self-parking at the Hilton Minneapolis is $12 for 24 hours with in and out privileges. Valet parking is $23 for 24 hours with in and out privileges.

Downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul

Minneapolis is in the Central Time Zone. Outside temperatures in April average a high of 60 °F and a low of 39 °F. For more information about the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, visit www.minneapolis.org

Downtown Minneapolis is approximately 16 miles from the airport, with taxi fares averaging $32 to $44. The distance to downtown St. Paul from the airport is approximately 12 miles and fares average $26 to $33. All cab fares are metered at a rate of $2.35 per mile and include a $3.00 trip fee that is added to the final metered fare.
