2011 CHAPTER AWARDS FORMS AND ANNUAL REPORT

December 7, 2011 -- The deadline to submit your Chapter Awards forms is Wednesday, February 15, 2012.

The 2011 Chapter Awards Form is attached below.

The Chapter Awards Presentation will be held at the 2012 Spring Convention
in Quebec City, QC Canada.

Chapter Annual Reports should be submitted by the same deadline. The Annual Report
form is included with the Chapter Awards forms, or it can be downloaded seperately.

2011 DELEGATE PROGRAM UPDATE

March 18, 2011 -- The ICRI Chapters Committee updated the requirements for a Chapter Delegate at an ICRI Convention as outlined below. In exchange a Chapter Delegate receives free registration to the convention. The delegate must pay for travel, housing and any additional convention activities (golf, banquets, social outings). Chapters can receive additional Chapter Awards points for providing the delegate with $500 towards those expenses.

Chapter Delegate Requirements

1. A delegate shall only be allowed to take advantage of the convention rate
    discount once every two years.

2. The Delegate shall provide a written report to its Chapter from the
    Inter-Chapter Luncheon and Chapters Committee meeting, Chapters
    Committee is to be copied on report. In addition a written report
    shall be provided back to Chapters Committee on discussions reported
    to Chapters.

3. Delegate must attend the Inter-Chapter Luncheon and Chapters Committee meetings.

4. In addition, Delegate shall attend one Technical or Administrative committee
    as well as a minimum of one Tech session.

5. If Delegate is a first time attendee the Regional Board Member for that delegate
    shall serve as mentor for that convention.

6. Delegate must be pre-registered as the Chapter Delegate in advance of the convention.

7. If, at the last minute, a delegate cannot attend the convention, another member
    of the Chapter may be designated as the delegate as long as the
    provisions above are not violated.

8. If the delegate fails to attend these events, ICRI will invoice the chapter for
    the full registration fee. To ensure the delegate and chapter officers
    are aware of this responsibility, ICRI will send a letter to the delegate
    and the chapter officers, reminding them of this policy.

2010 SAFETY GUIDELINE PRESENTATION

December 31, 2010 -- ICRI Committee 120, Environmental Health and Safety, put together a PowerPoint Presentation to introduce the Safety Guideline to ICRI Chapters. This 15-slide presentation has all the notes you will need to review for chapter members all the aspects and important features developed for ICRI Technical Guideline No. 120.1-2009 Guidelines and Recommendations for Safety in the Concrete Repair Industry. It is ready to download and use at your next meeting with only minor preparation by the presenter.

2009 FALL CONVENTION LUNCH FORUM PRESENTATION

November 1, 2009 -- The topic of the Inter-Chapter Luncheon and Forum at the 2009 Fall
Convention in Arizona was "Incorporation and 501(c)(6) Status." Attendees learned about chapter requirements regarding the necessary steps to becoming permanent legal entities in the eyes of state and local government as well as the IRS as well as setting themselves up as non-profit entities.

2008 FALL CONVENTION LUNCH FORUM PRESENTATION

December 1, 2008 -- The topic of the Inter-Chapter Luncheon and Forum at the 2008 Fall
Convention in St. Louis was "Financial Responsibilities." Attendees learned about chapter
requirements regarding ICRI provided insurance as well as changes to the IRS policies regarding non-profit entities.

ICRI CHAPTER INSURANCE

December 1, 2008 -- Another topic of discussion at the 2008 Fall convention was Chapter Insurance Coverage.

Currently, ALL ICRI Chapters are covered under ICRI's General Liability Insurance Policy at no cost to the chapter.

ICRI chapter presentation template

November 18, 2003 (Updated February 22, 2010) -- The Chapters Committee developed and approved a presentation for chapter officers to use at chapter events. The presentation includes information on ICRI, membership, publications, and events. There are also blank slides included for chapters to include information specific to their officers, meetings, etc.
