The balconies on this three-story condominium located on the beach front had been patched periodically, with little long-term success. In order to effect a lasting solution to the corrosion problem, a cathodic protection system, utilizing a conductive coating, was installed after spalled and deteriorated concrete was repaired using conventional materials and methods. The impressed-current system provides the owners with assurance that active corrosion has been halted, and that this durable and attractive repair will keep their investment secure for many years.
