ICRI Board Decision to Impact Chapters

Des Plaines, IL -- August 1, 2001- To make officer terms consistent with chapter annual reports, the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) board of directors voted during the ICRI Spring Convention to move all chapter officer installations to January 1, beginning in 2002.

The board recommends all chapters adhere to the new installation date by January 1, 2002 but will allow chapters to delay the transition until the final deadline of January 1, 2003, if requested. Chapters that will not be able to meet the January 2002 date need to request an extension in writing no later than September 28, 2001.

Chapters that have already held their elections for 2001 and wish to adhere to the 2002 recommendation can either reinstate their officers for another term or elect new officers before the end of the year.
